Town & token

Ponstown follows $CRIBS on Robinhood Chain and Pumptown follows $CRIBS on Solana. Each panel draws the town's price index beside the index it honoured and the tape that produced it, hour by hour. Figures in $CRIBS are informational — homes settle in coins.

Ponstown

Reading the town…

The chart fills in as the town keeps its hourly record beside its token. Come back in an hour.

Left axis: the price index at 100 = par, the leashed market cap at 100 = the baseline, and the price index in $CRIBS at 100 = where the range begins. Right axis: the index the town honoured, with the band shaded and the smoothed reading dashed. Hollow points are hours in which a print was set aside as unbacked.

Reading the town…

How the town follows the token

Every five minutes the town's own token is read from two public sources; when they disagree by more than half, the lower is kept. The town never looks at a single print. It takes the median of the last hour's prints, leashed to twenty times the pool's real depth, and only when at least three prints are on file. A median more than half away from the smoothed reading is set aside until six consecutive readings agree.

The smoothed reading is a slow average that believes an hour in proportion to the money behind it, and the applied index — the only number that multiplies a home — walks toward the smoothed reading at most three per cent an hour in Pumptown and two in Ponstown, inside a hard band. A pump has to be held for a day and a half against every seller to reprice a town, and silence freezes the last honoured index rather than snapping it anywhere.

The index touches appraisals and upgrade costs, and nothing else: coins an hour, grants, bonuses, rewards and fees have no path to it. The Elder Rule runs last in every case, so no Pumptown address can pass 60% of Ponstown's median whatever either token does.
