How it works

One living 3D city, 43 connected roads, 1,330 addresses — the housing market as a game, built for Robinhood Chain (Robinhood’s Ethereum L2). You earn buying power by holding the$CRIBS token (pons.family), own exactly one address, build it into a flex, and exit however you like: rent it, flip it, or take it public as house shares the whole market can own. Everything below is the complete loop.

01

Connect and claim

Connect an EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Robinhood Wallet’s browser) and sign a message. Signing is free, moves nothing, and proves the wallet is yours. You will be asked once to confirm you have read the Terms & Privacy: this is a fun-only experiment and everything can become worthless.

First connect pays a one-time 5,000 sign-up bonus in buying power, enough to claim your first address free. Your first claim is on the house; own as many more as you can afford. Want a bigger one later? Sell yours first.

02

Earn buying power by holding $CRIBS

Buying power mints automatically while you hold $CRIBS in your connected wallet on Robinhood Chain. The live rate shows next to your balance and is the sum of:

  • 50 coins/hour base, for everyone.
  • Your share of supply × 4,000 coins/hour, multiplied by a hold-duration bonus that doubles every 30 days up to . Sell and the clock resets: diamond hands out-earn everyone.
  • +25 coins/hour per house level you own.
  • +10 coins/hour while you are online (your house lights up too).
  • Certain store items add a percentage income boost on top.

Buying power is game points only. It never converts back to anything.

03

Claim an address and choose your build

Claiming happens on the map: vacant addresses belong to the city, are bought at the live appraisal, and never appear on the For sale market — that page lists only homes their owners are reselling. Every road prices by scarcity: fewer houses on a road means each address costs more, and boulevards and courts carry a prestige premium. When you buy a vacant plot you choose which of the eight drafts gets built, plus your paint, roof, and door. Profiles of each home:

The Cottage

The starter classic. One clean block under a pitched roof, sometimes a chimney. Cheap to claim, easy to love.

The Bungalow

Low and wide. An L-shaped side wing hugs the main block, all of it under a shallow pitch. Suburban comfort.

The Stack

Flat-roofed modernism. An offset upper storey floats over the base like two boxes mid-conversation.

The Townhouse

Tall and narrow with a flat crown and a street canopy. Maximum address, minimum footprint.

The Estate

Twin wings flank the main block under a pyramid roof. At high levels it grows a columned portico.

The Penthouse

A slim tower with a recessed top floor stacked on the crown. Built to look down on the street.

The Duplex

Two mirrored slabs joined by a low connector. One address, double presence.

The Manor

The grail. The biggest footprint, a grand pyramid roof, twin chimneys, and columns once it levels up.

Every purchase is numbered citywide, and earlier purchases keep a permanently higher appraisal multiplier, up to ×2.6, forever. Purchase #3 will always be worth more than the same house bought at #900.

04

Build the flex

The store carries 1,100+ items across pools, gardens, vehicles, garages, lighting, monuments, rooftop rigs, security, holo decor and more, and every single item physically appears on your plot. Two wallets never look the same. Items also raise your house valuation and some raise your earn rate. Shops are gated by wealth class (Working → Middle → Upper → Elite → Tycoon), limited rotations change daily, and rare pieces resell on the marketplace.

Upgrading your house raises its level: each level multiplies the appraisal by ×1.32 and adds to your hourly earn rate.

05

Rent it or flip it

Set a daily rent and other wallets can move in (their online status lights your windows), or list the whole house for sale at your price in coins. Selling frees your wallet to buy again; the buyer keeps the house’s purchase number and history. Every house sale — a city plot or a resale — pays a 2.5% fee to the main dev wallet, taken from the sale price and shown in the transfer feed.

06

Go public: sell house shares on Robinhood Chain

This is the exit that makes an address real (full breakdown: Ownership, broken down). Step by step:

  1. Open your house in Portfolio and hit Go public.
  2. The share identity is locked before you launch. The set deed card for the house you are selling — generated by the Game to match your house’s silhouette — is its face everywhere, no custom picture. The on-chain name is the exact address, the ticker is the street number + street name, and your house profile is the sell link, so every buyer lands on your house on the map.
  3. You, the owner, deploy the share token yourself from your own wallet: it is a minimal fixed-supply ERC-20 (HouseShares.sol, in this repo) with no owner role, no mint and no burn — nothing anyone can rug with after launch. Your wallet signs the deploy on Robinhood Chain; gas is a few cents of ETH. The Game never touches your keys and takes nothing.
  4. The full share supply mints to your wallet at launch: keep as much % of the home as you like and sell the rest on-chain — transfer shares to buyers directly or through any Robinhood Chain venue.
  5. The token links to your house. Wallets holding the shares are the shareholders, shown on the house profile with their percentages.

Already deployed a matching token? You can link an existing token address instead, as long as the identity matches the house.

07

Public buildings evolve

The moment a house goes public it stops being a house on the map and becomes a Motel. Holders grow it, live:

  • 3+ holders: Hotel, with a canopy and rooftop sign.
  • 8+ holders: Office Building, glass strips and a roof mast.
  • 20+ holders: Skyscraper, tapering tower, crown and beacon.

The more people hold your street’s coin, the bigger your building stands on the road. The house profile shows the evolution meter and how many holders remain to the next form.

08

Classes, roles and leaderboards

Net worth (buying power + house value + share value) sets your wealth class and unlocks richer shops. Everything is ranked: net worth, home value, transfer volume, share value, item scarcity. The #1 wallet citywide holds the title Cribs Developer.
